Snip, clip and sip with your friends at our annual fresh materials free-for-all. You will have time to finish at least one project to take home. If you want to incorporate your own home-grown materials, bring them and we'll show you how! Wear warm, layered, casual clothing that can get messy, and bring wire cutters, garden clippers and friends.

Registration is required- call 433-3190 ext. 3# by December 7 to reserve your spot. Attendance is limited to 20 - sorry, no walk-ins.

Jensen River Ranch Update
Ace Volunteers
The Trust worked with a volunteer group from the American Conservation Experience (ACE) over the last few weeks of the fall planting season. ACE is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing volunteer opportunities to American and International volunteers. The group that worked with us at Jensen included volunteers from Spain, South Korea, Denmark, the US and Germany. Each volunteer brought a variety of experience to the project, and we were able to plant more than 1,000 plants with their help.

Our fall planting season at Jensen River Ranch came to a close on Sunday, November 3. We had more than 50 volunteers from REI, Clovis West, Fresno City College, Fresno Pacific University, ACE, and our own River Stewards.

A special thank you to all of our volunteers and River Stewards who helped out at Jensen River Ranch during the fall planting season. We were able to  plant approximately 2,000 native trees, shrubs and acorns. The Trust will continue habitat enhancement work at Jensen River Ranch beginning in January. Look for more information in the next issue of Parkway News.
