Adult Ed/Teacher Training

Teach the River is an annual program of public and continuing education made possible through a partnership of the San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust and the California Department of Fish and Game, sponsored by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation and the Fresno County Office of Education

ACADEMIC CREDIT FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION is available through CSU Fresno for Teach the River events

• Additional fee ($60) required for 1 unit

• A minimum of 2 classes and 3 hours of assignment time must be completed for 1 unit of credit

January 26, February 2, 9 &16: Eagle Viewing by Canoe

February 16: Lewis S. Eaton Trail Bike Tour

January 22, February 19 & March 18: River Restoration Workshops

February 23: Elks, Ducks, and Wetlands

March 7 & 8: Native American Cultural History

March 8: Gorge-ous Day of Hiking

March 22: Wildflower Walk at the River Gorge

April 5: Edible Plants Along the River

April 11: Field Biology Walkabout

May 13: Games to Teach Environmental Concepts
