How You Can Help
Take Me To The River
Take Me to the River is the largest land protection and river access initiative undertaken by the River Parkway Trust.
We have the important task to protect the river’s unique landscape and to provide opportunities for our community to enjoy it. Take Me to the River will move us another step closer to our goal of establishing the 22-mile San Joaquin River Parkway from Friant Dam to Highway 99, between Fresno and Madera counties, in California’s Central Valley.
As the San Joaquin Valley continues to be one of the fastest growing regions in California, we must act now. With a lot of help from friends like you, we can protect the San Joaquin River, its streamside forests, fish and wildlife, and wide-open spaces for us and for future generations to enjoy.
We are developing an exciting portfolio of projects that will preserve the San Joaquin River as a vital public resource. For more information about how to participate, please contact Resource Development Associate Estelle Boro at (559) 248-8480 extension 116 or eboro@riverparkway.org.
