Juliana began working with San Joaquin River Parkway in 2016 assisting with the Madera Unified 6th grade field trips to Sycamore Island. In 2017, she began her role as Education Programs Facilitator. Her responsibilities include overseeing and instructing field trips at the River Center, Lost Lake, and Sycamore Island. Through learning about Native American culture, local ecology, and the importance of the San Joaquin River, Juliana believes outdoor education provides students an opportunity to experience and find value towards the natural landscape of the Central Valley.
She holds a B.A. in English from Fresno State.
Juliana loves the sounds of the city when cycling, swimming in alpine lakes and blossoming lithops.
