Bald Eagle Walk at Millerton Lake

Each year a population of bald eagles travels more than 1,600 miles from their summer breeding grounds in Canada. Join us for a walk at Millerton and a chance to catch a glimpse of these majestic birds. You’ll meet your guides at River Center. We’ll carpool/caravan from there.

To make the trip safe and comfortable: wear layered clothing appropriate for the weather, long pants, closed-toed shoes, hat and sunscreen. Please bring water, a snack and your binoculars. Some of the ground we will be walking on is uneven or rocky, but we'll go at a slow pace and stop often. No dogs are allowed on this walk.
