We are seeking energetic and fun individuals for the Trust's River Camp program at Scout Island. River Camp Counselors are responsible for managing groups of 10-12 campers in grades 1-8. Camp activities include games, storytelling, songs, arts and crafts, swimming, canoeing, wildlife exploration and more. If you have a passion for working with children and enjoy time in the outdoors, this job is for you! Parkway Hosts work at three properties that will open to the public in early February - Sycamore Island, Ball Ranch, and Camp Pashayan. Each of these properties is located on the San Joaquin River, and provide access for boating, fishing, picnicking, and other outdoor activities. Parkway Hosts welcome visitors, collect visitor entry fees, keep the properties in tip-top shape, and occasionally lead activities such as nature walks and canoe lessons.
