· Nature Walk: enjoy the beautiful Sumner Peck Ranch! Together we will explore riparian habitat as well as orchards and vineyard, learning about the importance the River brings to local agriculture.
· Creepy Crawly River Critters: Take turns with fellow naturalists to try your hand at catching some aquatic macroinvertebrates! We will together become scientists and do our best to identify the critters we catch in the San Joaquin.
· Sneaky Scavenger: Work as a team to scavenge from a sleeping ‘mountain lion.’ If the team doesn’t work together, the mountain lion will wake and catch the scavenger holding the stolen item.
· Habitat Jenga: this giant Jenga set is more than just a game. Each piece represents a component of a habitat necessary for survival. What will happen if we run out of food or water? Spin the dial and let’s find out. Hand sanitizer and masks will be required for this activity. Hand sanitizer will be provided, masks will be available for purchase ($1).
