In September, Respite by the River will feature local author Corrinne Clegg Hales with music by The Bad Actors. Bring your picnic dinner and blanket or chair, and relax in the cool evening breezes at the River Center. Macca's Wine Bar will be open during the dinner hour, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a wonderful selection of wines for sale by the glass. The reading will begin at 7:00 p.m., with book sales and signing to follow. Dessert will be for sale during the event. We'd like to thank our September dessert sponsor Starbucks.
