Each winter, majestic bald eagles overwinter along the shores of Millerton Reservoir. Join us for an easy 2-mile hike to view these magnificent birds, and learn a little about their biology.

Guide Judy J. is an avid birder who has been leading nature walks for the River Parkway Trust for several years.

We will be meeting at the River Center at 8 AM, and will carpool to nearby Millerton Lake.  Please dress appropriately and bring water and a small snack. Good hiking shoes and binoculars are recommended, leader(s) will have some binoculars for loan.

*Please note: Bald eagle sightings are highly likely, but are not guaranteed.
