Bald Eagle Viewing Hike

Join us on January 13th for this hike to learn about the Bald Eagle, our national bird.

Each winter, eagles overwinter along the shores of Millerton Reservoir.  Join us for an easy 2-mile hike to view these magnificent birds. Guide Judy J. is an avid birder who loves to share her passion and knowledge with the public.  PLEASE NOTE: While bald eagle sightings are highly likely, they are not guaranteed.

We will be meeting at the River Center (11605 Old Friant Rd, Fresno, CA) at 8:00 am, and will carpool to Millerton from there.  Please dress appropriately for a day outdoors (long pants, closed toed shoes, etc.) and bring sunscreen, binoculars, and water.  Leader(s) will have some loaner binoculars available.  This is a rain or shine event.  Children

12+ welcome, no dogs please.
