Sumner Peck Ranch
The River Parkway Trust acquired Sumner Peck Ranch in December 2020. The 76-acre property is located in Fresno County just south of Friant on the San Joaquin River, and contiguous with Ball Ranch, Ledger Island, and the Willow Unit of the San Joaquin River Ecological Reserve. The property includes a half-mile of river frontage and wildlife habitat in addition to farmland.

U-Pick Fruit Picking
The River Parkway Trust is thrilled to invite you to the upcoming U-pick season at Sumner Peck Ranch! Lace-up your boots and grab your baskets, it’s time to go fruit picking! During the scheduled seasons, U-pick hours are Saturday - Sunday from 9 am - 5 pm.
Things to Know Before Picking:
• No advance registration is required for U-pick days.• You can park at the end of the entrance drive near the river. Click here for a map of the property.• You can purchase your citrus or blueberries in the white office building near the river. Please no bills larger than $20, cash and credit are accepted. Apple/tap pay is available.• Please wear long pants and comfortable closed-toed shoes. Be prepared for a small hike to the groves (.25 mi). If you are unable to complete this hike please check in at the white office building for further instruction.• We encourage everyone to bring a bag, basket, or bucket for picking fruit. • Maps of the property will be available in the white office building upon arrival.
Citrus U-Pick Season
January 21 - March 26, 2023
Come take a stroll up and down the orchard, Saturday-Sunday from 9 am - 5 pm, no advance registration is required. Enjoy picking navel oranges, blood oranges, pomelos, Minneola tangelos, mandarins, and lemons all at $1.50 per pound.
Blueberry Picking
July 7 - July 8, 2023
Join us at Sumner Peck Ranch Saturday and Sunday from 8 am - 1 pm to pick fresh blueberries! U-pick days will continue until the crop has been picked. You can purchase the blueberries for $4 a pound at the pay station on-site.
