Click on the title above to see the full position description. Restoration Technicians are responsible for on-the-ground implementation of habitat restoration projects and land management tasks. Succesful cadidates would be interested in all aspects of conservation practices: from invasive plant removal and native plant establishment to the protection of natural resources and management of publicly accessible lands. This is a 40 hour per week field position with the Trust's cafeteria-style benefits package. Applications are now being accepted and the position is open until filled. Park Hosts assist with public access operations at Ball Ranch and Sycamore Island - properties offering fishing and boating access to ponds, the San Joaquin river, and other recreation activities. Nature School Teachers are responsible for assisting with the organization and implementation of the River Parkway Trust's Nature School Enrichment Program for pre-K through 3rd grade. This position is responsible for assisting with the organization and implementation of the River Parkway Trust's Field Trip programs. In addition to the regular duties of a Field Trip Facilitator (included below), this position has additional responsibilities assisting with materials organization, supply inventory and restocking, data entry, and additional tasks as requested. Lead Field Trip Facilitator duties vary, averaging 18-24 hours per week (approximately 6 hours/day, 3-4 days per week); duration for this position is September 2024-May 2025. Field Trip Programs Facilitators support the River Parkway Trust's education programs for school-aged youth. Facilitators assist with river field trips that teach children about ecology, cultural history, and local wildlife. Field trips are scheduled Monday-Friday between the hours of 9 am – 1 pm. Facilitators are expected to assist with at least one trip per week (a minimum of 6 hours/week). Applications are open until the position(s) are filled.
